Academic Scholars Program (OSRHE)

Eligible applicants will be attending college for the first-time and enroll full-time (12 hour minimum) for the fall semester following graduation from high school. Eligible applicants can qualify in one of three ways.

#1: Composite ACT of 29 or higher
#2: 3.7 GPA and class ranking of valedictorian or salutatorian.
#3: 3.7 GPA and composite ACT 26

Students selected for this scholarship will receive a tuition waiver for 12-16 hours, each semester, as well as a $1,100 cash scholarship, each semester, that may be used for fees, room and board, or books. For 12 hours of enrollment per semester, this scholarship has a value of $5,560. For 16 hours of enrolment per semester, this scholarship has a value of $6680. The exact amount will vary depending on enrollment.

This scholarship transfers with students to their choice of four-year college or university in the state of Oklahoma.

Academic Scholars Program recipients will continue to receive a scholarship each year if they maintain full-time enrollment each semester; complete at least 24 semester credit hours each year; and maintain at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average each year.
