Dora K. Gill Endowed Scholarship

The Dora K. Gill Endowed Scholarship will be awarded only to graduating seniors of Milburn High School on the basis of scholarship, leadership and citizenship. Recommendation for award will be made by Milburn High School administration. The recipients must be enrolled as full-time students and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher. This scholarship is awarded for fall and available for spring pending GPA and funding availability.

A bequest from the estate of Mr. Ed Gill, long-time resident historian of Johnston County, was used to establish this endowed scholarship on February 23, 1987. The scholarship is named in honor of Mr. Gill’s aunt, Dora K. Gill.
