Family Health Center of Southern Oklahoma
As we celebrate 20 years of serving communities in southern Oklahoma, we are excited to announce the new FHCSO Futures Scholarship with Murray State College – an opportunity geared toward students who share our passion for community involvement. Our organization will provide an annual award in the amount of $1,000 to one student from each of four FHCSO service areas: Atoka, Coal, Johnston, and Marshall Counties.
In 2002, our CEO, Tina Davis, and a team of like-minded peers recognized a profound need for affordable, accessible healthcare in our community. Together, they spent two years researching, fundraising, generating community support, and laying the groundwork for the opening of our first clinic in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Since opening in 2004, FHCSO has built new facilities, expanded services, upgraded technology, and increased healthcare staff – all while actively participating in the communities we serve. From our inception, we remain dedicated to individual and community well-being, focusing not only on improving the health of the individual, but on improving the well-being of the entire community.
